Assistant Manager in Training

Description Key Responsibilities: Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and overall performanceSupervise, train, and motivate team membersProvide excellent customer service and resolve customer concernsOversee cash handling, register operations, and shift reconciliationPromote and drive enrollment in the Gas N Wash rewards/loyalty programEnsure store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standardsAssist with inventory management, ordering, and stock controlEnforce company policies and safety proceduresEnsures that all necessary store reports and paperwork are completed accuratelyAssist with opening and closing proceduresHandles escalated customer concerns and emergencies in absence of the General Manager Requirements Qualifications: Must be 21+ years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent required3+ years customer service supervisory experience (retail experience preferred)Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentReliable, organized, and detail-orientedAvailable to work a variety of shifts and/or days of the week consistent with the demands of the retail environment which includes weekends, evenings and other high activity periods including HolidaysMust have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation with the ability to travel to varies Gas N Wash locations for training purposes and business purposes Physical Requirements Ability to stand for entire shift Ability to frequently lift between 5 to 20 pounds Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting and overhead reaching Ability to work in intermittent temperature, e.g., outside by the pumps and in the cooler Benefits Competitive payHealth benefitsPaid time offCareer advancement opportunities
