Assistant Manager II

Duties

• Aid with store functions and daily operations
• Provide positive, approachable customer service and address inquiries
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery trucks and stockrooms
• Maintain seasonal areas of the store
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Order merchandise, handle damaged items, maintain records, and assist with loss prevention
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, and disposing of trash
• Ensure store areas are neat and presentable
• Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing staff
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
