Assistant Manager - Hospitality - #583

Additional $1.50/hr. for working 10pm-6am.

About the role

Oversee our company's promise of total customer focus as an Assistant Manager of Hospitality. In this role, you’ll ensure top-tier customer-service procedures are in place at every corner of our stores. You’ll manage customer experiences to meet Hospitality and Total Customer Focus standards in inventory, preparation, promotion, production, service, and sales, while also stepping up as a leader of day-to-day operations in the Store Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Back up the Store Manager by supporting recruitment, selection, training, and performance management of store staff.
• Have a say in staffing decisions, including who works and when.
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and concerns.
• Ensure staff compliance with Sheetz policies, procedures, and programs.
• Follow up on responses from customer service shops, QA audits, secret shops, and SMG surveys.
• Oversee timely customer transactions, cleanliness standards, and hospitality standards.
• Ensure end-of-day tasks are completed.
• Maintain stocked shelves through proper placement, pricing, and replenishment of merchandise.
• Lead profit management by overseeing shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year degree in a business-related field preferred.
• One year of experience supervising others in fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operations preferred.
• Certifications: ServeSafe or any other legally required certification.
• Successful completion of certification testing as needed.
