This position is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the line service department, including personnel such as line service supervisors, leads, and technicians. The role ensures friendly and efficient service to customers and adherence to all customer service operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain adherence to Standards of Excellence for courteous customer service, grooming, and dress code.
• Manage line service supervisors, leads, and technicians on a daily basis.
• Enhance and reinforce training programs to maintain high levels of customer service and safety.
• Establish schedules and assign duties to supervisors, leads, senior personnel, and related positions.
• Partner with HR to interview, hire, dismiss, discipline, train, retrain, evaluate, and counsel employees.
• Prepare materials for evaluating and assessing personnel performance.
• Review daily fuel activity reports to ensure accurate recording of fuel sales.
• Review daily payroll and approve time worked for all line service employees.
• Communicate changes or additions to company or departmental policies to staff.
• Motivate and encourage staff to provide the highest service levels.
• Perform all duties of personnel during critical times, including towing, wing-walking, deicing, RCC, etc.
• Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of the Sr. Manager of Line Service and delegate as required.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all ground equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all airport rules and regulations, including OSHA and EPA.
• Interact with tenants, vendors, and customers to ensure quality service.
• Represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 7 years of Line & Ramp experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Valid state driver license
• Completion of NATA Line Service training program
• Ability to pass an FAA required 10-year background check

Pay

The baseline range for this non-exempt position is $38.00 - $41.00 hourly, equivalent to $79,040 - $85,280 annually, plus a performance-based bonus.

Schedule

Aviation operates on a dynamic schedule, and flight activity, customer requirements, weather, and airport conditions can change quickly. The successful candidate must support a flexible, around-the-clock operation and adjust working hours as necessary to maintain leadership coverage and operational continuity. This position may require evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and additional coverage during peak traffic, severe weather, special events, ground stops, ramp congestion, or other irregular operations. Jet Aviation Teterboro operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands and fingers, and operate computers, telephones, radios, and other communications equipment. The position requires sustained attention, frequent multitasking, and the ability to communicate clearly in a high-volume operational setting. The employee may occasionally be required to lift or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to access office, ramp, hangar, and operational areas and wear required personal protective equipment. The role may involve exposure to aircraft, moving vehicles, machinery, vibration, noise, weather, and occasional fuel fumes. Employees must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions when operational duties require ramp access.
