Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Experience:
  • Collaborate with your team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique, inclusive customer experience.
  • Educate customers and staff on Lush’s brand values, including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
  • Increase product knowledge and make informed recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, understanding metrics, budgets, and reports to drive profitable results.
• Team Leadership:
  • Support and motivate your team on the sales floor, answering questions and solving problems.
  • Own your development and support the growth of your team through coaching and leading by example.
  • Engage your team to ensure they are inspired, motivated, and connected to the brand values.
  • Support staffing with top-performing employees through networking, recruitment, hiring, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate on plans to improve staff engagement, retention, performance, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) practices.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Support compliance with company policies and procedures, including opening/closing, product integrity, health and safety, and communication.
  • Train the inventory team on fresh standards, rotation rules, and budget-aligned ordering.
  • Ensure a clean, beautiful work environment and adherence to merchandising standards.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels, breaks, and payroll accuracy.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment
• Excellent listening, communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organization, time management, customer service, and sales skills
• Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends

Preferred:

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models
• Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and adaptability to other systems
• Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

Pay

$22.48 USD per hour
