About the role
Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced property management professional to join our 270-unit community, Villas at the Gardens, in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
Responsibilities
- Assume the Community Manager's supervisory responsibilities in their absence.
- Assist in training and developing the team, including scheduling employee work times.
- Review daily rent recommendations and identify opportunities to maximize income.
- Collect current and delinquent rent in accordance with company and property policy.
- Implement timely legal action, including court appearances.
- Post invoices, use purchase orders, code invoices with correct General Ledger (GL) coding, and submit security deposit reconciliation on time.
- Review move-in and move-out files for thorough and accurate completion; verify information is entered into the property software system accurately and timely.
- Complete or verify completion of accurate and timely weekly reports.
- Review monthly financial reports with the property manager; assist in completing variance reports.
- Assist the Community Manager in resolving resident and prospective resident conflicts.
- Read, follow, and implement company and employee handbooks, property policy manuals, and other governing documents.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related property management experience with the ability to pass a fair housing exam.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; proficiency in basic math.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of operations software used at the property level, including Outlook, Internet software, Excel, and Word.
- Current driver's license and auto insurance.
- Able to work weekends and overtime as required.
