Assistant Manager
About the role
As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in the operation of a single store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. A 3+ week paid Store Management Leadership Training program will prepare you for success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of a Panda Express store
- Hire, manage, and direct associates to meet financial targets
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain food safety standards (Serve Safe certified)
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Willingness to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home
- Flexible availability to work opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across 36-inch countertops
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature, and noisy kitchen environment
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience managing conflicts and difficult situations
