About the role
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for managing the Stylists (Sales Associates) and supporting the Store Manager. Key responsibilities include motivating and influencing the team to achieve store targets and maintaining an inviting store environment for customers.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a positive team environment
- Coach, develop, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets
- Support the Store Manager in achieving store goals
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment
- Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
Requirements
- Prior management/supervisory experience in a retailer or hospitality setting
- Experience in creating and driving performance targets (KPIs)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
