Assistant Manager

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a passionate full or part-time Hourly Assistant Manager who shares our commitment to food quality, customer service, and community.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will lead a dynamic team in delivering unique menu selections—from scratch-baked bread and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches—all made with honest, whole ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining consistent, exemplary customer service.
• Actively listen to team ideas, concerns, and feedback to collaborate with management and customers on improvements.
• Build, develop, and influence a team, guiding individuals toward career growth.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation regulations.
• Meet operational goals and innovate to enhance team and customer experiences.

Requirements

• 1+ year of fast-paced restaurant or retail leadership experience.
• Attentiveness to regulatory compliance for food safety and sanitation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
