• Evenings (Weekdays + Weekend Availability Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising
• Maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service
• Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance
• Execute the food program to set standards
• Set an example for staff by demonstrating urgency, patience, and leadership
• Lead a team of employees and management
• Recruit, interview, and hire staff
• Delegate tasks and follow up on their completion
• Teach and motivate others
• Plan and organize operations
• Communicate plans and ideas effectively
• Handle cash and bookkeeping
• Solve problems efficiently
• Advocate for and empathize with customers
• Maintain safety and security standards

Requirements

• Retail experience
• Supervisor or management experience
• Recruiting, hiring, and interviewing skills
• Experience handling food
• High School or College Degree(s)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour per shift
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
• May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs

Pay

Hiring range: $16.00 to $19.50 per hour
