About the role
This person would oversee reconcilements, accounts payable, general banking, controls, compliance and audit along with preparing journal entries and resolving errors and discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate reconciliation of all assigned ledgers, settlement and operational accounts
- Oversight of end-to-end AP process while monitoring AP metrics
- Supervision of accounting activities related to loans, deposits, accruals and investment securities portfolios
- Providing leadership and mentorship to the team
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP, NCUA regulations, internal policies and accounting practices
Requirements
A bachelor's degree is preferred and a minimum of 5 years of similar or related experience is required.
