About the role

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager who will assist with the daily operations of the restaurant. The role focuses on delivering friendly, personalized service, great food promptly, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment. The Assistant Manager works closely with the District Manager and other team members to uphold operational standards and procedures, and internal promotions are based on performance and business need.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in managing the restaurant’s daily operations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train, and orient team members.
• Coach, counsel, and develop staff while managing team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and facility management.
• Maintain health and safety inspection standards.
• Set the tone for a fun, family‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high‑volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to private transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent and all required state and federal documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, results‑oriented, and customer‑service skills.

Schedule

Rotating shifts required, including weekends and holidays; the restaurant is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
