Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations during your shift, including cost controls, inventory, cash management, and customer relations.
• Set the example by adhering to all policies and procedures 100% of the time and ensuring your team does the same.
• Manage staffing, paperwork, food, scheduling, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
• Maintain perfect image and adherence to standards, ensuring great customer service.
• Operate equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, and process orders.
• Take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facility daily.

Qualifications

• Strong judgment, math, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to comprehend and give clear written and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and making correct monetary change.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash).
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
• Hot surfaces/tools (ovens up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts.

Sensory Requirements: Talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed standing.
• Walking: Short distances on ceramic tile/linoleum surfaces.
• Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Unloading deliveries (up to 50 lbs), stacking cases on shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of dough (12 lbs per tray).
• Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 lbs).
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs/ladder for maintenance or sign changes.
