About the Role

Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment in the store.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Perform accurate and quick arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Deliver product by car to customers' doors.
- Deliver flyers and/or door hangers.
- Navigate using maps to locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
- Submit to a background check and drug test.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18+ years old.
- Positive attitude and self-motivated.
- Customer service-oriented with a willingness to learn and excel.
- Valid driver’s license with a 2-year good driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with proof of liability insurance.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., entering orders, handling equipment).
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
- Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table in an office.
- Lifting: Unload bulk deliveries (up to 50 pounds) using a hand truck; stack cases onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 pounds).
- Climbing: Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices or maintenance.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients).
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously in all directions (e.g., oven controls, shelves, ingredients).
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination for shaping dough, using pizza peels, assembling boxes, and handling tools.
