Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations during your shift, including cost controls, inventory, cash management, product quality, store image, customer relations, and service times.
- Lead by example, ensuring you and your team follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
- Train and manage team members, maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
- Handle inventory, cash control, and required reporting.
- Perform all duties assigned to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Delivery Experts.
- Complete additional tasks as requested by the General Manager or above-store leadership.
Requirements
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Capable of driving in adverse weather conditions (rain, sleet, snow, high winds, hail).
- Positive and helpful attitude, with a willingness to adhere to all image and uniform standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, even in fast-paced environments.
Skills
- Strong arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with or without a calculator.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Proficiency in entering orders using a computer keyboard and touch screen.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks within specified timeframes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Delivery experts must walk briskly or run (when safe) between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds; rarely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Handle varying weights and sizes of packages during deliveries.
- Infrequently climb ladders for cleaning, sign changes, or maintenance.
- Navigate five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
- Frequent crouching, bending, and reaching when preparing products, stocking, and cleaning.
