Responsibilities
- Tackle maintenance requests in both occupied and vacant apartments with care and professionalism.
- Help keep homes clean and comfortable by tidying work areas and leaving friendly notices for residents.
- Prepare apartments for new residents so they feel welcome from day one.
- Circle back to any ongoing work to ensure everything is wrapped up smoothly.
- Follow simple key control procedures to keep spaces secure and organized.
- Pitch in to guide groundskeepers and junior techs when needed.
- Stay ahead of supply needs by keeping an eye on inventory and sharing updates.
- Keep tools organized and well-maintained so everything’s ready when you need it.
- Coordinate with vendors and check in on their work when requested—teamwork makes it easier.
- Work safely and confidently by following OSHA and company guidelines.

Requirements
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience in multifamily housing or a related field.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems (EPA certification a plus).
- Proven ability to complete a wide range of repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying conditions—indoors, outdoors, and year-round.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Reliable and committed to seeing tasks through.
- Strong attention to detail and take initiative.
- Respect residents and communicate professionally with everyone.
- Stay calm in emergencies and maintain a safety-first mindset.
- Active, hands-on role that requires walking, bending, lifting, and tool use daily.
- Must be able to work in changing weather conditions and be available for on-call duties, including nights and weekends.
