Assistant Machine Operator
Job Summary
Assists machine operator by performing the following duties. Help operator with set-ups, gather components, quality checks, hang rolls and packaging. Assist with light maintenance. Operates machine in absence of operator.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Assists operator in monitoring operation of equipment to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Analyzes, identifies and corrects problems using appropriate tools and resources.
- Ensures finished goods meet or exceed specifications.
- Aids operator in ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
- Takes direction from operator.
- Reads job ticket/BOM to ensure correct components are gathered.
- Inspects/measures product to verify specifications are met using quality tools.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Related work experience
- Able to regularly lift 25-50 pounds
- Read and comprehend instructions
- Simple mathematic skills
Pay & Schedule
- Pay starting at $24.00/hour, with increases based on training and growth in the role.
- 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM.
- This is a full-time position, Monday-Thursday, 36-hour weeks.
