Responsibilities
- Preparation of samples for analysis by weighing, homogenizing, and diluting as required.
- Perform basic housekeeping functions and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laboratory workspace.
- Operate basic laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Document work accurately and notify supervisors of any sample issues, equipment concerns, or inventory shortages.
Requirements
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
- Previous commercial laboratory or food service prep experience preferred but not required.
- Completed courses in microbiology, biological science, food science, or chemistry and/or Food Handler Certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Clean background check—no criminal convictions.
- Rewliable transportation.
- Willingness to work hard and get the job done.
- Paying attention to detail and taking pride in work completed.
Shift Hours
Shifts are from 7 P.M. to 1:30 A.M. on weekdays and 1 P.M. to 9:30 P. M. on weekends.
Pay Rate
$18-$20 per hour.
