About the role
The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the Kitchen Manager and their team in the operations and performance of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the planning and preparation of food production
- Ordering and inventory management
- Daily paperwork, reporting, and logs
- Safety and sanitation
- Employee management, including scheduling, training, and development
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 3 years culinary experience
- Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay
$50-$55k annually, depending on experience.
Schedule
Flexible hours and schedules, full-time or part-time.
