Assistant JV Ice Hockey Coach

Responsibilities

• Organizing practices and games
• Preparing recommendations for the budget to the Athletic Director
• Monitoring the academic progress of student athletes throughout the school year
• Issuing and collecting uniforms
• Applying simple first aid procedures
• Providing an orientation of a sound program to all pupil participants
• Communicating with colleges and university coaches regarding the attributes of the student athlete
• Assisting qualified players in identifying colleges or universities while educating the athlete to the college recruiting process
• Other related responsibilities as designated by the Athletic Director

Qualifications

• Prior coaching responsibilities preferred but not required
• CPR and First Aid Certified required
• Criminal records check required prior to starting in position

Pay

Salary Range: Contractual/Stipend
