Assistant Jazz Band Director (OE) 26/27 SY

Responsibilities

• Attends all Marching Band rehearsals and performances in August, September, October, and November
• Creates warm-ups and additional music as needed to help with student learning
• Discusses rehearsal plans with other marching instructors
• Repairs any percussion equipment as needed
• Oversees percussion auditions and rehearsals that take place in April and May

Qualifications

• Holds a valid/registered Illinois teaching license
