About the role
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager positions are integral to our mission of providing the best shopping experience for our guests. These roles involve a wide range of responsibilities including sales, merchandising, and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide exceptional service
- Answer questions about the store and its merchandise
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs
- Use product knowledge to suggest additional items and create a wardrobing experience
- Remain consistent on personal sales, and look for opportunities to impact Teammates' presentations
- Manage and build good Guest relationships to foster a client-based business
- Coach and train new Teammates to meet Buckle's standards
- Execute actions from department calendars and track on the Weekly Delegation Worksheet
- Ensure the store’s visual standards are met and improve overall performance
- Work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Recognize and handle security risks and thefts
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for fashion, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19-$23 per hour.

Positions are available on a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store and business needs.
