About the role
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Additionally, AIT and Assistant Managers perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management.
Responsibilities
- Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet Guests, provide legendary service, and maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: recognize recruiting opportunities, coach and create relationships, and develop skills to lead and motivate new Teammates
- Visual Merchandise Management: own and influence product through zone ownership, execute and demonstrate new tools and videos, and recognize merchandising opportunities
- Operations: work a flexible schedule, understand and utilize planner, watch for security risks and thefts, and follow all Loss Prevention guidelines

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate a high level of showmanship, excellent customer service, and attentiveness, and be coachable and consistently welcome feedback from Manager to improve sales presentations.

Pay
Pay range: $17-$21/hr, with a base rate plus commission on sales.
