  • About the role

    The Assistant HS Oral Interpretation Coach (NSDA) is responsible for supporting students in preparing for and participating in National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) oral interpretation competitions.

  • Responsibilities

    • Support students in refining their interpretations and developing their public speaking skills.
    • Attend and assist at NSDA regional and national competitions.
    • Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to ensure a cohesive team approach.
  • Requirements

    • Experience coaching high school students in public speaking and debate.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, or related field.
    • Previous experience working with high school students.
  • Skills

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Knowledge of NSDA rules and regulations.
