Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality and customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Responsibilities
- Aid in recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping staff
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Cook with the maintenance department to address any maintenance issues
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and place orders as needed
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Affirm compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and policies
- Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent guest service
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
