Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality and customer service
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team

Responsibilities

  • Aid in recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping staff
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
  • Cook with the maintenance department to address any maintenance issues
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and place orders as needed
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Affirm compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent guest service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
