Assistant Hospital Manager - Ingleside Animal Hospital
Team Leadership
You will partner with the Hospital Manager to address staffing needs, including hiring, training, reviewing, and coaching staff. You will serve as a visible leader and point of support for technicians, CSRs, and support staff.
Operational Flow
You will monitor daily schedules, appointment flow, and staffing coverage to ensure the hospital runs smoothly and efficiently.
Conflict Resolution
You will proactively address and work to resolve employee conflict and behavioral issues, fostering a positive team environment.
Financial Management
You will manage the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances through the collection of client transactions, strict cash/credit handling procedures, and managing opening/closing protocols.
Client Experience
You will maintain a positive attitude in all interactions, proactively demonstrating empathy towards clients and treating pets with compassion and respect.
Systems & Records
You will utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records accurately and communicate effectively with clients and teammates.

What You'll Bring To The Team
- 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience is required (veterinary or healthcare experience is preferred).
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading a diverse workforce and establishing a positive team culture.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some holidays and weekends.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $25-$30 per hour based on experience.

Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work shift. Ability to lift 35-50 lbs. Manual dexterity to operate computers and office equipment.
