Assistant Handyman/Assistant Handywoman

About the role

We are a service-based company in Connecticut that provides quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects. We are currently seeking Assistant Handymen with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance, and some knowledge of a trade or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work out of your home on a part-time basis
• Travel to job sites in Hartford and New London Counties, surrounding counties, nearby towns and cities
• Assist Craftsmen in the duties as a second hand
• Provide quality Handyman and customer service

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Some knowledge of a trade or willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
• Own standard set of tools or use tools of the Craftsman on jobs
• Valid driver’s license and own a motor vehicle
• Residence within 25 miles of our large geographic service area
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Pass a criminal background check

• Interest in and competence in basic Handyman skills
