Assistant Golf Professional – The WildeWood Club

About the role

The WildeWood Club is a private club located in Columbia, SC. The golf course was designed by Russell Breeden and opened in 1976. It spans over 160 acres with a unique layout that offers challenges to all players while maintaining excellent course conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing.
• Provide instruction to members of all skill levels, including golf lessons and clinics.
• Manage the golf shop, ensuring supplies are stocked and customer needs are met.
• Work closely with the club’s management team to ensure the smooth operation of the club.

Requirements

• Minimum apprentice membership of the PGA of America.
• Successfully completed the Players Ability Test (PAT).
• A college degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a passion for golf, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Skills

• Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices.

Pay
