About the Role

The Assistant Golf Professional is a full-time, on-site role based at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, TX. This position supports daily golf operations, including managing tee sheets, organizing and supervising play, and assisting with tournaments and member events. The role includes providing golf instruction, conducting clinics, and offering coaching for players of varying skill levels. The Assistant Golf Professional helps oversee the golf shop, including merchandising, equipment recommendations, and inventory management. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests, enforcing club rules and standards, and collaborating with other staff to maintain a welcoming and efficient golf experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Golf Instruction and coaching for players at different skill levels
  • Skills in Golf Management and golf operations, including organizing tournaments and managing tee times
  • Solid knowledge of Golf fundamentals and rules to support play and member engagement
  • Familiarity with Golf Equipment, including fitting, selection, and basic maintenance recommendations
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and colleagues
  • Prior experience at a private or resort club, basic point-of-sale and inventory skills, and strong communication and interpersonal abilities are beneficial
  • PGA membership or pursuit of PGA certification, and relevant education or training in golf management or a related field, are preferred
