About the role
The Assistant Golf Professional at Mauna Lani – Auberge is responsible for overseeing daily golf shop and service operations, supervising staff, and assisting with tournament preparations.
Responsibilities
- Carries out daily golf shop and golf service operations
- Aids in supervising Golf Shop Sales Associates and Golf Services Staff
- Monitors and manages course play, processes tee time reservations, golfer processing, merchandising, and training
- Executes group and tournament outings, provides daily records for reports
- Works independently and effectively under tight deadlines
- Ensures facilities are neat, clean, and orderly
- Functions as the first point of contact for the Golf Shop and GSA teams, responding to team needs
- Assists Golf Management team in conduct and discipline, providing performance insights
- Oversees golf operation in absence of management team
- Assists with tournament preparation, including scorecards, cart signs, scoring, and staff assignments
Requirements
- Experience with diverse golf course operations, including resort, private, and semi-private settings
- Demonstrated understanding of high levels of guest services and expectations
- Prior PGA certification or pursuing certification preferred
Qualifications
- Ability to work variable days, hours, and shifts
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Compliant with all House Rules and Company/Departmental policies and guidelines
- Proficient in office software, tee sheet software, and other golf-related technology

Benefits
Base salary range: $22.00 hourly
