About the role

Hai Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager for Uchi Nashville, set to open soon. Reporting to and working closely with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager, this role focuses on providing exceptional dining experiences for guests and guiding the Front of House (FOH) service team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the front-of-house operations, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction
• Oversee staff scheduling and training to maintain high standards of service
• Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager to develop and implement strategies for growth and improvement
• Assist in managing the restaurant's financial performance, including P&L reporting and inventory procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and standards
• Perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and restocking, maintaining a neat and organized workspace
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly

Requirements

• Previous management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Strong food and beverage knowledge preferred
• Emotional intelligence and passion for hospitality
