Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach
About the role
The Athletics department of the Mechanicsburg Area School District is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Girls Volleyball team at the Senior High School. The ideal candidate should have coaching or playing experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Coach in all aspects of volleyball program management
- Teach and develop skills of players under their supervision
- Attend all home and away games and practices
- Work closely with the Head Coach to implement training programs
Requirements
- Coaching or playing experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check
Skills
- Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills

Schedule
Hours are flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the team and the coach's availability.
