About the role
Propel Schools is seeking an Assistant Girls' Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this Fall at Propel Andrew Street High School, Propel Braddock Hills High School, and Propel Montour High School.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the head coach and the development of the program
- Supporting the Varsity program with the head coach and athletic director
- Implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations
- Attending all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certifications/trainings
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Participation in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
Requirements
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training

Season Information
The 2026-2027 volleyball season is scheduled to begin on August 17th, 2026 and is anticipated to conclude in November, although the season may end earlier depending on if the team participates in postseason. This position includes a seasonal stipend of $2,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
