Assistant Girls Basketball Coach

Overview Of Essential Functions

• Attend all team activities (games, practices, gatherings, meetings).
• Assist in the supervision of transportation to and from games as needed.
• Assist with email communication with players and families during the season.
• Attend all required athletic department or league meetings.
• Responsible for all athletes, equipment, and facilities used while coaching.
• Coaches are responsible for reporting game results to athletic directors as well as responding to emails within 24 hours when in season.

Desired Education And Experience

• Previous High School, Club Level, or College Level coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.

Key Skills And Attributes

• Knowledge of fundamental basketball skill and strategy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills as the leader of the team.
• Ability to collaborate with coaching staff.
• Good driving record and ability to drive the school minibus.

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Riding a school bus long periods of time.
• Drive a minibus.
• Must be able to carry 25 pounds.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $2,000 – $2,500 per season. This position does not have benefits associated with it due to the part-time nature.
