Assistant General Manager - Soho (Flagship Location)

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in achieving business objectives, including maximizing sales and providing an exceptional shopping experience. You will become a brand ambassador through product knowledge, styling passion, and relationship-building. This role contributes to a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment and reports directly to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Strong focus on the sales floor, motivating stylists to meet performance standards
• Demonstrate sales leadership through active customer engagement and ensuring high-level customer service
• Foster a strong appointment, consignment, and event culture in partnership with the Manager of V.I.P. Client Relations and Studio Services
• Provide weekly updates to Store Manager/Regional Managers on Studio KPIs: outreach, retention rate, top clients, consignment conversion
• Achieve personal sales plan and metric goals for both the store and yourself
• Team sell with Sales Stylists to contribute to the development of the stylist team
• Sustain and expand new client relationships
• Communicate product knowledge to associates to ensure the team can articulate each collection’s vision and product quality
• Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
• Perform daily paperwork and operational tasks
• Execute company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in luxury/contemporary retail management
• Basic computer skills in retail point-of-sale systems, Excel, and Word
• Able to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
• Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, high-energy, entrepreneurial spirit
• Team player inspired by others’ successes as well as your own
• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
