Assistant General Manager - Burleson-TX
Lead the Center. Develop the Team. Build Future-Ready Kids. At KidStrong, our mission is simple: build strong, confident, high-character kids who run the playground, raise their hand high in the classroom, and make friends wherever they go. Our science-based curriculum develops the whole child — Brain, Physical, and Character — and our center leaders are the ones who make that mission stick.
About the role
As an Assistant General Manager, you're an operator, the coach, the culture carrier, and the community builder all in one. You work with your General Manager to run a high-performing center — and when they're off, you're the one in charge. This is a role for someone who wants to lead, loves kids, and is ready to build something that matters. If you're a high-energy, mission-driven leader who thrives on developing people and delivering results, this role is for you.

- Build genuine relationships with kids and families before, during, and after class

- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly center cleaning and maintenance activities
- Coordinate coach scheduling changes and communicate updates through appropriate platforms
- Schedule and staff KidStrong Camps and parties to maximize center performance
- Ensure brand consistency across all center-level execution
- Communicate professionally with your team via Slack and email
- Sell
- Drive membership growth through proactive lead management including outbound calls, SMS, and email
- Convert trials into memberships by delivering an amazing trial experience and owning follow-ups as needed
- Prepare SSU trials and members for what to expect in their first class
- Source and attend local community events to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Manage event leads and follow-ups to drive event bookings and support conversion to membership

- Comfort having real conversations with families about their child's development
- Athletic or coaching background, ideally with kids ages crawling–11
- CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain)
- Availability for a schedule that includes evenings and weekends

Our AGM DNA
KidStrong leaders are held to a high standard — and they hold themselves to an even higher one.
- Leader — You create the culture, set the tone, and lead by example every single shift.
- Community Builder — You invest in the families and team members around you. You know the kids by name, the parents by face, and your coaches by what they're working on. Relationships are your competitive advantage.
- Passionate — The mission isn't a tagline to you — it's why you show up. You stay focused on KidStrong's goals, bring energy to the work, and raise the bar for everyone around you.
- Results Driven — You set goals, track progress, and own your outcomes. Whether it's membership growth, trial conversion, or coach development, you know your numbers and you move them.
- Communicator — You listen as well as you lead. You give clear direction, deliver honest feedback, and make sure nothing important falls through the cracks — whether you're talking to a 4-year-old, a new coach, or a parent on their first trial day.
- Performer — You're engaging, energizing, and bring the same high-energy presence to a staff meeting as you do to a class of 4-year-olds.
- Professional — You follow through, own your results, and handle pressure with composure.
