Responsibilities

• Affirm membership execution on lead generation, appointment setting, and hitting guest goals.
• Assist the GM in ongoing training on hitting 50% guest conversion, 40% Ultimate Mix, and 25% attachment of point of sale private coaching.
• Inspire guests to purchase memberships. Convert every gym visit into a new member relationship by understanding guests' goals, presenting UFC Gym in a way that resonates with them, and building trust through transparent pricing and open dialogue.
• Affirm personal membership execution on lead generation, appointment setting, and hitting personal guest goals.
• Affirm membership department performance against monthly targets in New Member Sales, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Point of Sale Private Coaching goals.
• Achieve minimum goals and exceed monthly targets.
• Contribute to the development of the gym's financial, expense, and operating plan for each month.
• Collaborate with the GM and MS’s to develop weekend membership plans to meet financial and retention goals.
• Collaborate with the GM and MS’s to establish priorities and goals, including revenue goals and labor targets for weekends and months.
• Identify and plan improvements in the gym.
• Set monthly, weekly, and daily targets that are both challenging and achievable.
• Provide assistance to the GM on managing the MS schedule within budgeted hours and business demands.
• Work with the weekend team in all departments to set priorities and goals to deliver a great member and guest experience.
• Report weekly and monthly results to the GM and VP of Sales regarding gym financials.
• Cross-train in the GM's primary responsibilities and act as the "Manager on Duty" during their absence.
• Create a fun, safe, healthy, and community-focused gym culture that maximizes member satisfaction and profitability.
• Be a role model for member experience by collecting member feedback and identifying training and development opportunities for team members.
• Resolve elevated gym member concerns on weekends; conduct on-the-spot coaching to prevent them from recurring. Handle any weekend concerns with the GM on Mondays if needed.
• Maintain gym appearance and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Time & Labor policy and practices through the company's timekeeping system for all MS’s.
• Ensure the efficient execution of company policies, procedures, programs, and promotions on weekends.
• Ensure the safety of employees, members, and gym property on weekends.
• Be present on the gym floor and locker rooms, helping ensure a clean and safe environment, while developing relationships for prospecting.
• Assist in the front desk as necessary to provide a friendly greeting and prompt attention to members' needs.
• Select and train MS Team members by reviewing applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations to the GM.
• Train MS Team on member promotions, leads, referrals, appointments, shows, local events, outside marketing, and guest passes.
• Train MS Team on current marketing campaigns to effectively communicate to members and prospective members.
• Conduct or facilitate weekly meetings with MS’s to review performance and offer direction, inspiration, and guidance toward achieving individual and gym goals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing reports, budgeting, revenue, payroll, and/or demonstrated math analytical/ratio skills, and knowledge of the fitness industry preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation with proven results.
• Experience with basic computer skills (MS Office, Internet).
• Strong and proven leadership, communication, time management, and analytical abilities and skills.
• A High School Diploma or GED required, a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• One to two years of management experience supervising 3-10 employees preferred.
• One to two years of sales or related experience preferred.
