About the role
The Assistant General Manager oversees day-to-day operations, manages staff, and ensures customer satisfaction in a bustling retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee store operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage staff schedules and performance evaluations.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain inventory levels.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail or hospitality.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Customer service orientation.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Effective time management and organization.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
