Assistant General Manager

About the Role

The Assistant General Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by running great work shifts and meeting Taco Bell standards. Responsibilities include taking ownership of problem‑solving with a positive attitude, seeking help when needed, and guiding others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties.
• Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
• Serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Demonstrate positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; College or University degree preferred.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Internal promotion from Shift Manager preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic business math, accounting, and strong analytical/decision‑making skills.
• Physical ability to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers, clean parking lot and surrounding grounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and stoop for approximately 80 % of shift time.
