Assistant General Manager

About the role

We are Modern Market - a farm-fresh eatery that serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant General Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts in the restaurant
• Aid in inventory counts and product ordering for the restaurant
• Lead the orientation/on-boarding process for new team members
• Aid in developing/writing the restaurant schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant assistant general manager experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining high operational standards

Pay

This position is paid hourly with a pay range of $50,000 - $60,000, plus bonus.
