About the role
We are Modern Market - a farm-fresh eatery that serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant General Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts in the restaurant
- Aid in inventory counts and product ordering for the restaurant
- Lead the orientation/on-boarding process for new team members
- Aid in developing/writing the restaurant schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant assistant general manager experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining high operational standards

Pay
This position is paid hourly with a pay range of $50,000 - $60,000, plus bonus.
