Assistant General Manager

About the role

Slick City is a fun-filled, family-friendly action park featuring indoor slides, birthday parties, and high-energy experiences for guests of all ages. We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations, develop team members, and deliver an exceptional guest experience at Slick City Humble.

This is a key leadership role working closely with the General Manager and positioned for growth within the organization. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest service and uphold Slick City brand standards
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-energy culture throughout the park
• Support sales performance, productivity, and growth goals
• Assist with daily operations, including opening and closing the facility
• Monitor facility cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and inventory
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment by enforcing safety and sanitation standards
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
• Handle guest escalations professionally and efficiently
• Maintain strong employee relations, including coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Work collaboratively with the General Manager and leadership team
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required)
• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience (required)
• Hospitality, entertainment, or retail experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Guest-focused mindset with soft sales experience
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members of all ages
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Must be available to work weekends (required)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and holidays
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Pay

Salary: $42,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience

Bonus potential tied to performance

Schedule

40+ hours per week

Day and night shifts

Weekend availability required

Holiday availability as needed
