Responsibilities

• Support all day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including sales, cash handling, inventory control, and storage of cannabis.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, and signage in the dispensary.
• Work with the General Manager to provide an outstanding customer experience and meet revenue goals.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop dispensary personnel to ensure compliance with inventory, operations, and system protocols.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Control Manager to ensure all stored cannabis is accounted for and the dispensary has adequate stock for daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with AZDHS regulations and statutes.
• Assist in human resources responsibilities, including scheduling, policy implementation, inventory reconciliation, and money handling processes.
• Support performance management, including rewards and recognition programs.
• Work with Retail Managers and the General Manager to meet customer needs and expectations through optimal product selection and top-notch service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions).
• Associate’s or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry.
• Leadership experience with the ability to make informed critical decisions, complete tasks on time, and problem-solve.
• Results-oriented and self-starter with a strong interest in working with people and cannabis.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Technologically proficient with working knowledge of cannabis POS systems and ability to learn new software.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands.
• Frequent physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
• Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching.
• Must work indoors year-round in noisy and crowded environments.
• Ability to lift 25-40 pounds from the floor to waist height when necessary.
• Frequent crouching and bending.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for short to extended periods.
• Occasional sitting on the floor or at floor level.
• Ability to handle routine stress associated with the position.

Pay

$60,000 USD - $65,000 USD
