About the Role As Assistant General Manager at the airport Escape Lounge you'll lead front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, you'll develop high-performing teams, drive business results, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service. Key Responsibilities Lead a service-focused culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences, drives revenue and loyalty, maintains food and beverage standards, manages guest feedback, and ensures efficient daily operations.Support financial performance through effective P&L management, inventory control, waste reduction, cost management, vendor coordination, and clear communication of business results.Recruit, develop, coach, and engage high-performing team members while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Ensure compliance with all company, health, safety, licensing, regulatory, and airport operational requirements. Working in a Premium Airport Lounge This role is based within a busy airport lounge serving departing passengers.The operation runs across extended airport opening hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance.You'll work in a fast-paced environment where exceptional hospitality and seamless guest service are essential. What Will Make You Successful? You'll be a hands-on hospitality leader with experience leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, guest-focused environments. You thrive under pressure, lead by example, and understand how to balance operational excellence, team engagement, and business performance. 3+ years of experience in a hospitality, restaurant, retail, or catering leadership role (Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar)Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to deliver exceptional guest experiencesStrong business acumen, including inventory management, cost control, and financial performanceKnowledge of food safety, allergen management, responsible alcohol service, and operational complianceExperience managing high-volume food and beverage operationsSkilled in recruiting, performance management, employee relations, and talent developmentExcellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to prioritize, delegate, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentComfortable standing and moving throughout the operation for extended periodsProficient in Microsoft Office and other business systemsAbility to obtain and maintain any required airport security clearances CAVU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
