Assistant General Manager
About the role
Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is seeking to hire an Assistant General Manager. This position will assist our General Manager in the operation of all clubhouse functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee food and beverage management both front and back of the house.
- Oversee amenities including golf, racquets, and pool.
- Provide superior service to members and guests.
- Be a strong leader, mentor, and motivator for management and assist them with their staff as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the club's dress code and decorum.
- Show strong communication and listening skills and work as a team.
- Maintain club facilities to meet the expectations of members and guests at all times.
Requirements
- Strong background in food and beverage management.
- Overall knowledge of managing amenities such as golf, racquets, and pool.
- Highly focused on providing superior service.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Team player attitude.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of country club operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
