Assistant Frozen Team Leader

Hourly range: $18.00 – $24.00

About the role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for assisting the Grocery Manager with the operation of the frozen food section of the grocery department, including budgeted financial aspects, overseeing clerks, and monitoring merchandising, rotation, and inventory levels of frozen grocery product to promote optimal sales opportunity. Responsible for providing a high level of customer service and courtesy at all times.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling requests
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards at all times
• Assist the Grocery Manager with day-to-day operation of the frozen food area: product merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels
• Assist with ordering all merchandise and supplies for the frozen foods area and meeting transmission times
• Store excess product in freezer
• Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service throughout the total store; front-end services may be required as business needs necessitate
• Ensure all company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations are adhered to within grocery operations
• Unload frozen food merchandise from trucks
• Maintain all damage and reclaims per company guidelines
• Assist with training and development of all new associates in the frozen food area
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives
