Overview
The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in the supervision of the entire front office operations to ensure profitability, exceptional service, quality and value to each guest throughout their stay. This position will work primarily the evening shift to ensure there is a Manager On-Duty in the evening.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and manages employees.
- Manages all day-to-day operations.
- Understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
- Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiates with others.
- Collaborates with the Front Office Manager on ways to continually improve departmental service.
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
- Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
- Sets a positive example for guest relations.
- Displays outstanding hospitality skills.
- Settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiates.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Prior cash handling experience necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years previous hotel front office in a similar role.
- Excellent guest service, organization and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Salary Range
USD $71,304.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
