Responsibilities
- Supervises and manages employees.
- Manages all day-to-day operations.
- Understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
- Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiates with others.
- Collaborates with the Front Office Manager on ways to continually improve departmental service.
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
- Sets a positive example for guest relations.
- Displays outstanding hospitality skills.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Prior cash handling experience necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years previous hotel front office in a similar role.
- Excellent guest service, organization and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
