About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our dynamic Front Office Team. The ideal candidate will train, evaluate, and resolve issues while ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with policies.
Responsibilities
- Train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline or termination when necessary.
- Respond to guest requests, needs, and concerns, accommodating groups to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Implement company programs and supervise daily operations to maximize revenues and quality service.
- Remain calm and alert during emergencies and heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for associates.
- Resolve customer complications and complaints through thorough research and effective problem-solving.
- Make decisions and take action based on experience and judgment, adapting to unusual situations.
- Authorize revenue allowances after offering alternative solutions.
- Supervise Guest Service Agents and perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, guests, and patrons.
- A self-motivated personality with a calm demeanor.
- A professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- The ability to communicate clearly and prepare complex reports related to room availability and revenues.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using a calculator for complex calculations.
- Proficiency in accessing and inputting information using a moderately complex computer system.
- The ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks behind the front desk.
- The ability to recognize and respond appropriately to signs of emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and policies.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
$62,000 - $65,000 annually
Schedule
Overtime eligible manager position.
