About the role
As an Assistant Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including:
- Pumping Systems
- Power Generation and Distribution Systems
- HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- Energy and Temporary Utility Systems
- Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for every task and duty
- Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to guarantee the team operates in a manner that ensures project execution and minimizes risk
- Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation
- Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently to guarantee profitable delivery and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus
- Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources
Pay
Base Pay Range: $24.58 - 33.80. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
