About the role
The Assistant Football Coach I position at King’s Schools is responsible for providing a Christ-Centered environment for student-athletes to excel as individuals and as members of a team. This role supports the mission and vision of King’s Schools while bringing innovative ideas and techniques to the athletic field.
Responsibilities
- Yearly Preparation: Understand and teach football rules and regulations, stay updated on rule changes, and attend coach clinics.
- Pre-Season: Complete rules clinic, technique-specific safety training, assist with participant registration, and organize preseason meetings.
- During the Season: Attend practices and contests, implement Athletic Core Covenants, ensure equipment and facilities are cared for, and monitor athletes for signs of illness or injury.
- End of Season: Return and store equipment, recommend award recipients, provide feedback on facility maintenance, and suggest schedule improvements.
Qualifications
- Christ-Centered Belief: Belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, engaged in spiritual growth, and aligned with CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous coaching experience recommended.

Paid Benefits
A $1500-$3500 stipend, determined by DOE.
Pay
Salary range: $1500-$3500 per month, DOE.
Schedule
Part-time employment status.
